Exercising during pregnancy can help your body adapt to the physical changes it goes through in order to accommodate your growing baby, help your body prepare for labour more effectively and will put you in a better position to return to exercise post partum.

It is important that you allow your body time to fully recover and return to exercise gradually at your own pace. Not only can it aid your recovery, it will help you build strength to allow you to hold, carry and lift your baby more easily and reduce the risk of injury.
